HOAN KIEM LAKE 

Located in the centre of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Returned Sword) is regarded as the heart of the city. Once a marshy lagoon, it owes its name and its fame to a powerful legend. 

ONE PILLAR PAGODA 

The One Pillar Pagoda was originally built by the Emperor Ly Thai Tong. Built of wood on a single stone pillar, the pagoda is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, the symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow.

Packed with charming colonial architecture, Buddhist temples and pagodas, the Old Quarter, located near Hoan Kiem Lake in Hoan Kiem District, is Hanoi’s major commercial district. WEST LAKE 

Westlake is a freshwater lake in the center of Hanoi. With a shore length of 17 km (about 10.6 miles), this is the largest lake of the capital and a popular place for recreation with many surrounding gardens, hotels and villas.

The Imperial Citadel Of Thang Long is the cultural complex comprising the royal enclosure rst built during the Lý Dynasty and subsequently expanded by the Trần, Lê and nally the Nguyễn Dynasty.
